"True Venture exists to inspire and support children and young athletes by improving access to positive opportunities through sport so they can connect with and reach their potential"

We believe that children and youth athletes are not always given an equal opportunity, whether that be access to local facilities and clubs or access to compete and develop their athletic ability. The last few years have shown us how acute this issue can be with participation numbers dropping, energy costs putting our swimming pools at threat and competitions disappearing in certain regions.

We will support these issues by focusing on these activities:

• Support for sports clubs in North Wales to raise standards and compete at a higher level 
• Purchase of equipment for sports clubs 
• Improving opportunities for children and young people from North Wales that want to compete competitively  
• Enabling sports clubs to reach more children and young people
