2016 was a kick ass year. Here are some of the highlights.
Ended 2015 and started 2016 with walking along the Offas Dyke path along the Welsh/English border with friends.
Was lucky enough to be asked into the GSK human performance lab for testing. It was very interesting and I learned so much.
Went out to Jordan for a few weeks to walk through the desert with Leon (Indiana Jones) McCarron.
Completed my first half Ironman while supporting Matthew Pritchard on his 30 half Ironmans in 30 days world record. He smashed it - on a vegan diet too. Well done boyo!
Awarded my adventure scholarship to Addi and Athena who went on to kayak the Leeds to Liverpool canal. You're never too old, or too young for adventure.
Started the cycle leg of my 4200 mile triathlon around the coast of Great Britain.
Caught up with Elise Downing on her circumnavigation of Great Britain run. She went on to complete it in 301 days. Legend!
Slept in an advertising trailer. Like a boss.
Met my twin
Got skinny . . . and angry by the looks of things.
Ran my first double marathon.
Started my 117-mile self supported swim with my raft called Rafty McRaftface.
Tied fishing line around me. Swam for 3 hours. Caught a fish!!!! BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!
Completed the worlds longest triathlon. 4200 miles in 85 days.
Met David Beckham - A true gent!
Published my 4th book about the time I cycled around the world.
Magazine cover model! Up yours all you ginger bullies from my school days ;) Ha!
My face on lift doors. . . I decided to take the stairs.
My second show on Discovery Channel premiered in the UK.
Entered into the Route 66 bike race. Sadly got injured on day 4 and had to pull out :(
2016 was my biggest year for talks. I love sharing my stories and lessons with people who need a little nudge in life.
A cartoon version of me made it onto a Buff. Life = Made!
I moved to the Lake District.
Learned to SUP with Lizzie Outside
I learned how to make my own Biltong. It's not s**t either!
I learned how to turn a piece of steel into a knife.

Flew to Northern Ireland. Climbed its highest mountain. Flew back. Best day trip ever!
Did my first chill swim - 450m. It was sooooooo cold but I survived.
Ended the year in France impersonating Santa!
