So here it is. My new mini adventure. I've always wanted to do the three peaks and quite like cycling (obviously) so why not combine the two. A part of me really wanted to try and smash it and attempt to do it in 48hours but I've decided that this time I'm going to enjoy it and plan to do it in 3 days (well a little less - 60 hours) Thats doing a climb and cycling 140 miles each day. We leave on a Friday morning and get back Sunday night. What a great long weekend adventure. I cant wait!
As some of you might know, most wont as I've kept it on the low down, but in 2013 I am planning a very ambitious adventure with fellow endurance athlete Andy Brown who is the fastest person to row the Atlantic solo. Andy and I have never done anything together so I figured lets do this challenge to test our compatibility and see if we get along. I am actually quite nervous. Rowing the Atlantic is a lot harder than cycling around the world. He is a machine. He has the stronger mind but I am the stronger cyclist. I think it'll be a great learning experience for both of us.
We are going to start with Snowdon on Friday the 5th October and finish Ben Nevis on the Sunday night. Praying for good weather as this can be make or break for us. Even a slight headwind can almost halve our sleep allowance. As always you'll be able to track us as we make our way up Britain.

If you fancy doing either the climb or a days ride (or both) then you're more than welcome. We'd love to have you along. Let us know via Twitter or Facebook nearer the time and we'll let you know where to meet us. Remember to keep an eye on our tracker too.
Between Andy and I we pretty much have every bit of outdoor gear there is. But if you would like us to put one of your products to the test during our adventure then let us know. We'd love to help if we can. Thanks to Nuun who have supplied us with hydration tabs.
